Edit LoA Point Values for MFA Types

EmpowerID allows you to customize the Level of Assurance (LoA) point values for each multi-factor authentication (MFA) type. Adjusting these values helps you meet your organization's security requirements and control the trust level assigned to each MFA method.

Edit LoA Point Values for MFA Types​

  1. On the navbar, expand Apps and Authentication and click Multifactor Authentication.
  2. Search for the MFA type you want to edit and click the Edit button.
  3. Enter the new LoA point value in the dialog that appears and click Save.

Assign higher LoA points to stronger MFA types to increase security. Regularly review point assignments to ensure they align with your organization's risk profile.
