Delete People (Emergency Termination)
Emergency termination provides an immediate unplanned leaver process for situations requiring instant action. Use the DeleteMultiplePeopleWithOptions workflow to terminate Person objects and manage their associated accounts.
Terminating a Person is a significant action that removes the Person from active status. While deleted Persons can be restored, ensure you have confirmed the termination is necessary before proceeding.
Prerequisites
- Access to the Resource Admin portal
- Permissions to terminate Person objects
- Confirmation that emergency termination is required
Terminate a Person
-
Navigate to the Resource Admin portal.
-
Select People and click the Workflows tab.
-
Click Terminate Person.

-
Search for the person to terminate and select the checkbox beside their record.

-
Repeat step 4 for each additional person to terminate.
-
Click Next.
-
Click Yes to confirm the termination.

Click No to exit the workflow without terminating. -
Specify how to handle accounts owned by the terminated Person:
- Delete All Accounts — Deletes all accounts linked to the Person in their respective resource systems
- Orphan All Accounts — Removes the Person linkage but preserves the accounts, marking them as not belonging to a Person
- Allow Policies to Handle Accounts — Applies configured RET (Resource Entitlement and Termination) policies to determine account handling
-
Select the appropriate option and click Submit.
